Terms of Service
By installing or using Accio Prompt! ("the extension") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.
1. What the extension does
Accio Prompt! adds an "Accio! Optimize" button to the text composers of ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. When you click it, the draft text you have written in the composer is sent to our backend, rewritten by a language model, and shown back to you so you can decide whether to replace the original draft.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google. We use your verified Google email as your account identifier. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. We never see your Google password.
3. Credits & pricing
- Each rewrite ("spell") costs the number of credits shown in the popup at the moment you click.
- New accounts receive a one-time free credit bonus.
- Additional credits are sold in packs via Stripe. Prices and pack sizes are shown in the popup before you confirm.
- Credits have no cash value and are not refundable except where required by law. If you believe a charge is wrong, email support@accio-prompt.app and we will investigate.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the extension to:
- Generate content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually explicit involving minors.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse the credit system, or otherwise interfere with the service.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the backend service (the extension code itself is publicly reviewable in the published zip).
5. The rewrite is a suggestion
Rewrites are produced by an AI language model and may be wrong, off-topic, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing the rewrite before using it. The extension does not auto-submit rewrites to the underlying chat.
6. Service changes & availability
We may change, pause, or discontinue the extension at any time. If we discontinue it permanently we will try to give 30 days' notice by email and through the popup. We do not guarantee uptime.
7. No warranty
The extension is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every rewrite will be correct or useful.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the extension is limited to the amount you have paid us for credits in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
You can stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. On termination your right to use the extension ends, but sections that by their nature should survive (pricing disputes, warranty disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the popup and the "Effective" date above will be updated. Continuing to use the extension after a material change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the extension is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions.
